Treasurer - Keumok Heo 허금옥
Keumok is an experienced educator who has taught for almost three decades from elementary schools to colleges. She earned a bachelor's degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, a Diplom (the equivalent of the master’s degree) from Robert Schuman Musikhochshule in Duesseldorf, Germany and a second master’s degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. In addition, she had graduate work in music education at Yonsei University and music technology at Berklee College.
Keumok had extensive training in education from the Office of Higher Education & CREC. She holds a dual teaching certificate in special education(from K-12th grader) and music(from Pre K-12th grader) in Connecticut. She has been honored to serve as the president of PTO and a director of the board since 2010. She lives in Glastonbury with her husband, two kids, and a dog.
