President of the Board – Peter J. Lymm
Mr. Lymm holds a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Rochester, double majoring in psychology and healthcare management. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Haven. Mr. Lymm currently works for Samsung SDS as the Chief Administrative Officer, and has held several officer and vice president roles in the insurance and health care services arena. Additionally, Mr. Lymm serves on the Board of Directors for SolBridge University in South Korea. He is has also been part of the Admissions Network with the University of Rochester for over 8 years and has created and sponsored multiple college scholarships. In addition, Mr. Lymm has also served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and the National Organization for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
Communications Officer - Yohan Park
Mr. Park holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Union College, a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters of Engineering from Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Park has extensive financial risk management experience and currently works for Firstlight Power Resources. Mr. Park’s current board experiences include: The Korean-American Service Center, Executive Director; the Solidarity for Practice of the South-North Joint Declaration, Secretary General; the Korean-American Society of Connecticut; and the Korean- American Charity Foundation. Mr. Park also serves on the Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification. His position will be to handle the Korean communication process with all school members and the general public as well as work to build the relationships amongst the families of the school, the Korean community and the general public.
Treasurer - Kelly Lymm
Mrs. Lymm holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Trinity College and an undergraduate from Central Connecticut in Management and Human Resources. She has extensive experience in managment and marketing, human resources and employee benefits and working as a paralegal at one of the top law firms in Hartford. Mrs. Lymm currently lives in Bundang, South Korea and has a consulting business in Global Healthcare. She is also a member of the Seoul International Womans Association Welfare Committee and has sat on a number of different boards.
Eunmi Park
Mrs. Park attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and began her career in fashion design working for Calvin Klein. Mrs. Park comes to KLCEI with a tremendous Korean language teaching experience spanning over 17 years. Mrs. Park also served KLCEI as Dean of Students and directed all educational matters. As a Board member, she lends her invaluable teaching experience in shaping the large policy decisions and the strategic plan and as a previous teacher she assists in helping lay the Korean language foundation for our students.
Peter Lee comes to us with many years of business and board experience. Currently, he runs the Kumon math and reading school located in Newington. His experience with children as well as his many great ideas are an asset to KLCEI. We are very fortunate to have him join our board and provide valuable insights.
Cindy Joo is our Headmistress who comes to us with numerous years of teaching experience. She has an undergraduate from Ewha Womans University in Seoul Korea in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Connecticut State University in Connecticut. Cindy has wonderful forethought and organizational abilities that coupled with her education and her Korean heritage make her an invaluable asset to KLCEI. We are very privileged to have such a talented and wonderful person shaping KLCEI for the future.
Sharon Kim comes to us also with business experience working for State Farm as an manager/agent. Her business experience coupled with her understanding of the Korean community helps us match up our needs to that of our local community. We are very excited that she has decided joined us.
Ms. Zebrowski comes to us with many years of executive experience from a large insurance company in Hartford. She also sits on a number of different boards. Ms. Zebrowski also holds a law degree. Her corporate and board experiences provide KLCEI with invaluable assistance in the development of policies and procedures and best practices. We are very fortunate to have her on our board.
